Understanding the Point System in the UEFA European Championship

UEFA National Team Coefficient Ranking
: If teams are still tied after considering all the above criteria, the UEFA national team coefficient ranking before the tournament determines their final rankings.
Knockout Stage:
In the knockout stage (Round of 16, Quarterfinals, Semifinals, and Final), if a match ends in a draw after 90 minutes, it goes into extra time (two periods of 15 minutes each). If the score is still tied after extra time, the winner is decided by a penalty shootout.
